About the Workshops
Dr. Cohen and Mr. Davis bring over 40 years of experience working with young children, adolescents and families. These workshops are intended for the parent, caregiver, or layperson who wants to deepen their knowledge and skills in becoming not only a “fearless parent”, but also in encouraging the development of secure, responsive, self-regulated and happy children/adolescents. The weekends are interactive, experientially-based and offer a wealth of information. Specifically, participants will be given the methods of how to foster self-confidence and creativity in your own parenting, as well as enhance the emotional well being in your child’s everyday life, discover the obstacles that prevent happiness for both you and your child(ren) and you will learn to relax into parenting and avoid it’s traps.
You will learn to uncover your unconscious processes with your children and learn to read your own intuitive and creative cues, so that you may become the best parent ever! This workshop is more than a skills-based, recipe-laden, parenting technique weekend.
We will look at and learn about:
- Our history as the children of our parents and how it guides our parenting;
- What we do because of what happened to us;
- Our hopes and fears about what will happen to our children;
- What is truly our job as parents;
- Creating our power and being nearly fearless.
We can’t wait to see you there!
